With the help of a fire-painting flask, burn a hole in the acrylic moulds through which the lights of the fairy lights fit. The hanging loops can be snapped off with pliers.
Cover the acrylic forms from the inside with the straw silk. To do this, first coat the inside with the glue and then apply pieces of the straw silk one by one with the glue. Allow to dry.
Glue straw silk onto the self-adhesive lamp foil and transfer the pattern for the butterfly wings. Cut it out and stick it on the back half of the acrylic spindles. Decorate the wings with a pearl pen as desired.
Form one chenille wire per butterfly (cut in two halves) into feelers and also glue them to the top of the butterfly body. Join the balls together.
Glue the wiggly eyes on and paint on a mouth.
Fix the butterflies and balls to the fairy lights with hot glue.
