Beach sheet with cushion

The large beach sheet with the sewn-in pillow can be fastened with the ribbons to form a handy roll that even fits into the large, self-stitched beach bag. The cut is so simple that even sewing beginners can rework it. So nothing stands in the way of a great bathing day.

And this is how it works

Fix the cuttings for the pillow Pins right sides together and sew them together except for a turning opening. Then turn them over, stuff them with filling cotton wool and close the seam with mattress stitch
Now iron individual motifs from the printed fabric onto the rough side of the ironing fleece and cut them out with the serrated scissors. Important: Always use permanent iron-on film to protect your iron. Peel off the protective paper and fix the motifs on the blue cut-out for the beach sheet at cotton temperature. Now lay the top and bottom of the beach sheet right sides together and the volume fleece on top of it, Pins fix the edges all around. The short side of the pillow is placed between the two fabrics so that it is sewn on directly when you sew all the pieces together on three sides. Tip: It is particularly easy to do this if you turn the beginning over and then push a thin round bar into the bands.

Place the open side of the straps in the opening of the beach sheet and sew them again in a narrow edge around the entire sheet, closing the turning opening and fixing the straps.
Tip: To fix the volume fleece even better, you can add more topstitching seams inside the beach sheet.
