These decorative candle holders are the absolute trend piece for your home decoration. With little effort and material, you too can cast these candle holders in the trendy bubble look.
First mix the above quantities of Raysin with water in a mixing bowl. The consistency should be creamy, similar to yoghurt.
For the white version, pour the mixture directly into the mould. Place a candle spout in the centre of the mould. It is best to weigh down the spout with an object so that it does not rise during the drying phase.
For the coloured versions, add ½ tablespoon of beige and 1 ½ tablespoon of grey-brown craft colour for the light brown. Stir the mixture very well and then pour it into the mould. Repeat the process with the candle spout.
As a rule, the candle holders can be removed from the mould after about 30 minutes of drying time. ATTENTION: as soon as you have added colour, the drying time will be longer. This can now vary between 1-3 hours. After the candle holders have been removed from the mould, they should continue to air dry. Then you can smooth the area around the candle spout with sandpaper and paint the entire holders with napkin varnish. This will give them a shiny look.
