Example 2 - Coloured frame
For this variation, you first prime the entire stretcher frame with acrylic paint, as in the first example. Here, too, we used the colour madder red-dark.
Now tape off one edge with masking tape so that there is only one square left in the middle.
Apply the texture paste there, as in the first version, and add patterns with an effect spatula.
As soon as the texture paste is completely dry, you can remove the tape.
