The embossing technique is ideal for achieving creative and special effects on cardboard, boxes, cards and much more.
And it is as simple as that:
What do I need for the embossing technique?
You need the transparent embossing stamping ink, a stamp motif or the embossing dual-pen, embossing powder and a heat source like a hot air dryer
How do I use the embossing technique?
This is applied to the carrier medium with a nice, rich stamp imprint. You should make sure that dense, flat motifs require more pressure and thinner, filigree motifs require correspondingly less pressure
Now generously sprinkle the embossing powder in the desired colour over the still moist stamp impression. The entire motif must be covered with from coloured powder
Excess powder can be reused afterwards by tipping the powder from the sprinkled carrier onto a folded sheet Paper and then filling it back into the can. In the next step, heat the resulting powder motif on the stamp surface until the powder has melted. This happens at approx. 100°C - a hot-air device from the hobby specialist trade is particularly suitable for this. Make sure that the device must not touch the Paper .
