Here's how it works
Cover the work surface with Paper or foil to protect it from the liquid wax.
Fix the triangular cautery insert with the locking screw in the Mal-Pen and heat it up.
Spread the desired basic colour (green for the large candle and Blue for the small candle) on the hot painting plate and lighten it with white wax. The wax crayons melt immediately on contact with the hot metal.
Apply the liquid wax to the candle and spread it unevenly on the surface
Repeat the process until the candle is primed all around.
Clean the painting plate with a paper towel and apply silver wax over the first layer of wax.
As a third layer of paint, lighten the contrast colour with white and apply it over the other two layers of paint.
Finally, set accents with white wax.
Tip: Wax already applied can be warmed up again with the hot paint pen and spread further . Clean the painting plate with a paper towel, otherwise the different colours will mix.
