First paint the tray as well as some lids of the tin cans with
VBS blackboard paint. Design more tin cans with color in stone gray or pastel olive green. You are also welcome to leave the natural chip tin color on some of the tins.
Finish the edges and rims of the tray as well as the tin cans with metal leaf by first brushing on the areas to be decorated, then after about 20 minutes apply the metal leaf with a brush and finally carefully remove any excess
metal leaf with the brush.
Stamp pretty designs and messages on white cardstock. Then cut or punch them out, then glue the paper onto or even onto the chip boxes using craft glue or 3D glue pads. You can now
write on the paper with the black liner.
Use a chalk marker for writing on chalkboard paint on the tray and on the spandex lids coated with the black chalkboard paint. And finally, decorate some of the spandex tins with gold decorative ribbon.
Have fun filling and gifting!
