This yarn is made from 100 % cotton and has been mercerized and glazed to give it a particularly soft and smooth surface. With a running length of 125 m and a weight of 50 g , Schachenmayr "Catania Color" is ideal for knitting and crochet projects of all kinds. It is suitable for needle sizes from 2.5 to 3.5 mm and is therefore equally suitable for beginners and advanced knitters.
You can use the Schachenmayr "Catania Color" for a variety of projects, from sweaters and tops to jackets. You will need approx. 500 g of the cotton yarn for a size 38 sweater. The cotton yarn can be washed on a delicate cycle, e.g. delicate wash or easy care program, up to a temperature of 40 °C. The garment cannot be treated with bleach, i.e. it should only be washed with colour and mild detergent. 
Iron moderately hot, i.e. up to 150 °C maximum. 
The garment can be cleaned with perchloroethylene, hydrocarbon, R113 and R11 solutions, with restrictions on temperature and moisture addition.
