The butterfly is painted with pencils, which are wonderfully suitable for silk because of their brush tip. The POSCA paint is opaque - light colors cover even dark colors! - and looks very intensive thanks to its colourfast pigments. With it you can even paint on silk like on Paper.
And this is how it works
Roughly sketch out the pattern on the butterfly with a Strich-Ex pencil, then design the individual areas with the different coloured pencils.
Tip: Before using the pen for the first time, you need to pump the pen up. To do this, hold the pen vertically downwards, remove the protective cap at the end and press the button until the brush tip is completely soaked with paint.
Finally, paint all free areas black, so that the bright colours come out especially well.
Complete the painted pattern with coloured gemstones and fix them with gemstone glue.
Use hot glue to attach a hanging from Organza ribbon , also knot several ribbons together and stick them to the bottom of the butterfly.
