In keeping with the festive Christmas season, we present you with the tutorial: "Designing tea light holders with colours". With creativity and crafting fun, you can create your own atmospheric decoration.

Now colour comes into play

First paint the individual parts of the tealight holder with craft colours of your choice. For our example, we have chosen Scandinavian colours, but which colours you choose is entirely up to you.

After the colours have dried sufficiently, the houses and fir trees, as well as Father Christmas with his reindeer, can be fixed in place from below with a little craft glue and inserted into the rails. By gluing the underside, you make sure that everything stays securely in place.

Only the finer points
Finally, glue the paper lace border around the aluminium holders of the tea lights. This creates a great look and enhances the whole thing.

You have a great, painted tea light holder that looks great on the windowsill or dining table.
