Let's welcome the festive season together with these adorable terracotta pot Christmas gnomes!
With this set, you can make five Christmas gnomes that are perfect as decorations or gift wrappings for the festive season. Add a personal touch to your Christmas decorations this year and enjoy craft time with family and friends.
In addition to the materials included in the set, you will need scissors and hot glue.
1.
First, paint the terracotta pots completely in carmine red. It is best to apply 2-3 coats so that the colour covers well. The individual layers of colour should always be completely dry before applying another one.
Then stand the small terracotta pots on the table with the opening facing downwards.
2.
Now cut out the motif templates for the beards. Transfer them to the craft felt and cut out all the parts. Glue one large and one small beard cut-out together and attach them to the terracotta pots using hot glue. For the nose, glue a wooden half ball onto each of the beards.
3.
Glue the Christmas caps to the front, back and sides of the small terracotta pots using a dot of hot glue. For the large terracotta pots, attach them to the front of the beard.
4.
Now add the messages around the edge. Draw everything out delicately with a pencil first. Then trace the letters with a white marker.
5.
Finally, fill the cellophane bags and place them in the large terracotta pots. Close them with the satin ribbon and your terracotta pot Christmas gnomes are ready.
